Graham Cummins Departure Confirmed

Cork City striker Graham Cummins last night finalised his move to Preston North End.

Speaking to CorkCityFC.ie, Cork City manager Tommy Dunne said: “While we are disappointed to lose a player of Graham’s quality, we are satisfied that we reached an agreement that everyone was satisfied with. Graham was fantastic for us over the last few years; not alone from the point of view of him being our leading goalscorer, but also his commitment and his work rate.”

“Even prior to us receiving an offer for Graham, we were working hard to finalise our squad, and I am confident that we will have some positive news on that in the near future.”

“With Graham’s willingness to work hard, I am sure that he has a bright future in the game. On behalf of everyone at the club, I would like to thank Graham for his contribution to Cork City FC over the last two years and wish him the very best of luck for the future.”
