Kieran Sadlier signs for City

Cork City FC are delighted to announce the signing of Kieran Sadlier from Sligo Rovers.

The attacker joins John Caulfield’s side having been with Sligo since the start of the 2016 season, scoring 15 goals in 49 league appearances, including 7 this term.

Commenting on the news, Caulfield said: “Kieran has played in this league for the last two seasons and been a top performer for Sligo.  He is a scorer of goals and a creator of goals, he can play in a number of positions and he gives us a lot of options in an attacking sense.”

“We feel that Kieran fits the bill in terms of the type of squad and the type of personnel we have here at the club, so we are delighted to have him.”

“There was huge interest in him and to be fair to the player, he chose to come here. He saw how well we are doing, the crowds and the exposure he will get here if he does well. We have been working on this for the last couple of weeks with Sligo and thankfully we have got it over the line. He comes straight into training tomorrow and will be available for selection on Sunday against St. Pat’s.”
