Cork City FC is delighted to announce that Aspira has renewed its principal partnership with the 2017 double-winners for the coming season.
Aspira, the Cork-based enterprise IT project specialists, have been club partners for the last two seasons, with their logo proudly displayed on the back of the City jersey.
Commenting on the renewal of the partnership, Pat Lucey, CEO of Aspira, said: “It makes total sense that Aspira and Cork City FC should partner for another year, building on the success of our sponsorship for the past two years.
“Since coming on board as premier sponsors in 2016, Cork City and Aspira have both delivered historical doubles. While City won the League and Cup, Aspira was named in the Financial Times European Fast 500 technology companies and also in the Deloitte Best Managed Companies for 2017. I’m looking forward to an exciting season and delighted for Aspira to sign up again for 2018 as premier sponsors.”
Pat Lyons, Chairman of Cork City FC and FORAS, welcomed the news, saying: “Aspira have been strong supporters of the club over the past couple of seasons and we are thrilled that they are extending the partnership for 2018.
“We are enjoying a very successful period in the club’s history, claiming our first-ever double, and that would not be possible without the backing of our supporters and our sponsors. Like us, Aspira are an ambitious Cork organisation who are determined to achieve further success, and we look forward to working together with them to our mutual benefit.”
