25. Kevin Burns
Position: Goalkeeper
Date of birth: 28/7/1990
Height: 191 cm
Weight: 82kg
Place of birth: Waterford
Nationality: Irish
Previous clubs: Waterford United
Cork City’s deputy goalkeeper joined the club in December 2011, but Kevin has had to be patient since in his battle for the number one shirt with Mark McNulty.
The 21 year old has had to make do with mostly cup appearances so far on Leeside, but he has potential, and will do well to take a leaf out of Mark McNulty’s book, in playing the waiting game as the current net-minder had to do with Mick Devine.
Burns began his fledging career with local outfit Seaview Celtic, before a solitary season spent with Tramore Athletic, who he joined First Division Waterford United from in 2009.
