Commenting on the launch of the draw, Cork City Chairman Declan Carey said: “We are very pleased to launch our new fundraiser, and we would like to thank all of our friends and partners who are supporting the draw by providing such fantastic prizes. This will is an important fundraiser for the club, and we would urge everyone who has an association with the club to support it and spread the word to family and friends. We believe that it has a great range of excellent prizes which will be to everyone’s taste, whether they are City fans, or not. There is great work being done in the academy by Liam Kearney and his team, and this fundraiser will help us to continue that.”

City’s Head of Academy Liam Kearney commented: “This is an excellent fundraiser with some really great prizes on offer. We would ask everyone to row in behind it and support it, as it will help us to continue the work we are doing in the academy and make further progress. We had a good season with many positives, culminating in our Under 17s winning the Mark Farren Cup, and we want to build on that for next year.”
