Carrick United 0-2 Cork City

Cork City added another Munster Senior Cup to their list of honours today with a 2-0 win over Carrick United at Ozier Park. Liam Kearney opened the scoreline after 15 minutes with a wonderful free kick that the Carrick keeper had no chance of saving. Skipper Dan Murray made it two nil ten minutes from time after he headed home from close range from a Liam Kearney corner.

City are now 11 games unbeaten in all competitions as they head into this Friday’s league tie against St. Pat’s this at Turners Cross.
