This Saturday (29th May) Cork City Football Club will be introducing a weekly Lotto Draw for the purpose of funding the operations of the club’s underage sides.
The new City Lotto will carry many of the same features of the old lotto draw which successfully ran from 2000 to 2007 and played a major role in Cork City FC’s financing of its underage sides as well as contributing to development works at Turner’s Cross Stadium over the years.
In these times where fundraising plays a greater role in the club’s finances, this new Lotto draw will require assistance from all supporters both in terms of purchasing draw tickets and selling them to other supporters, and those outside the Cork City family.
An information meeting for supporters who feel they can make a meaningful contribution to this new fundraising effort will take place in Bishopstown on Tuesday 1st June 2010 between 7.30-8.00pm. Anyone who feels they can contribute to making the new weekly lotto a success is welcome to attend.
Meanwhile, several volunteers will be on hand on Saturday evening in The Beer Garden after the Player Sponsors Draw equipped with plentiful supply of entry tickets.
The club will also be linking with locallotto.ie with details of how you can offer your support online to be announced very soon.
Thank you in anticipation of your further generous support.
