Volunteer Emergency Services Exhibition

There was a very positive response and turnout for the VES exhibition at the weekend as everyone went to great efforts to bring a welcoming atmosphere and sense of community to the event and we at Cork City FC were delighted to be part of it all.

It gave us the chance to raise awareness that the club is a community owned and run organisation and to let the public know that we are always looking to for people to help out and volunteer with the club where possible.

At the Cork City FC stand there was the opportunity to chat to, get an autograph from and get a photo with Cork City players as well as win some great prizes including signed footballs and Cork City FC scarves and hats. Corky also popped in on Saturday to meet all the kids and got on famously with our canine neighbours, the Irish Search dogs.

Great fun was had by all and there were smiles all round from our winners. The names drawn for the prizes were Sam Hernan, Kathleen Fennelly, Darcy Murray, Leo Napier, Cormac Hallaher, Dylan Brockmann, Cian O’Brien and Paddy Kennedy.  See the photos above.

If you would like to get involved in volunteering for the club then don’t hesitate to contact us on 021 434 5574 or email us info@corkcityfc.ie.
