Letter from Bantry Bay Rovers

Bantry Bay Rovers were our guests at the Bohemians game last week, and played at half time.

We were delighted to receive the below email from them this week:

I presently coach U9, U8 and U7 at Bantry Bay Rovers.  I would just like to say thanks for a very hospitable night at Cork City last Friday 15th March.  It was a memorable evening for all concerned.  I’d like to thank everyone at the club from the lady who gave out the lollies and sweets, the gentleman who gave us the flags to wave and the band and Corky.

For many of the children and parents that were there, this was their first senior soccer match that they have ever attended.  Cork City FC made it an absolutely fantastic experience for everyone who came from Bantry.

Myself and my family will continue to support and follow Cork City and attend as many home matches as we possibly can.  I am certain that this goes for other parents who attended.

We have your sticker on the car and we are proud to display it.

Thank you once again.

Mark Gaffney

Our thanks to Mark for his kind words and the best of luck to all at Bantry Bay Rovers. We hope to see you at Turner’s Cross again soon!
