Friday’s City Edition

Denis Behan’s seniority sees him take on a certain amount of responsibility in mentoring the young players coming through the ranks.

Speaking to Alan Smith in this week’s City Edition, Denis explains how he has come full cycle from his early years at the club. “I learned from Neale Fenn when he arrived from Waterford, and the likes of Pat Morley who was finishing up when I was starting.”

Speaking about his strike partner Danny Morrisey, Denis tells Alan: “He’s really come to the fore but we don’t need to put pressure on him. He’s still young and learning his trade but there’s no doubt he has a huge future.”

You can read the rest of that interview and much more, including Tommy Dunne’s thoughts on Friday’s game and the upcoming trips to Wexford and Derry, in City Edition, which will be available at Turner’s Cross on Friday, priced at €3. You can also purchase City Edition from our online shop.
