Cup Watch December 25th – February 25th

The FAI Cup has had a busy time of it since the last update.  Here are the highlights

Saturday December 31st:
The FAI Cup and President’s Cup were in the club shop until 2:30pm.

Tuesday January 17th:
Alan Bennett brought the FAI Cup to his presentation of December’s Southside Sport award at Cork International Airport Hotel.

Thursday January 19th:
John Caulfield brought the FAI Cup to Bandon AFC‘s clubhouse.

Saturday January 28th:
Stephen Bermingham brought the FAI Cup along to Foróige’s 2017 Cork Regional Conference, where he was a speaker.

Thursday February 2nd:
John Kavanagh visited Leeside AFC training with the FAI Cup.

Friday February 3rd:
The FAI Cup visited Blarney United’s O’Shea Park for the Munster Senior Cup semi-final between Cork City and Blarney United.

Monday February 13th:
The FAI Cup visited the launching of the DePuy Synthes Soccer Supporters for the 2017 season.

Friday February 17th:
The FAI Cup was present at the President’s Cup match between Cork City FC and Dundalk at Turner’s Cross.

Tuesday February 21st:
John Kennedy accompanied the FAI Cup and the President’s Cup to Care Choice Nursing Home in Ballynoe.  The residents prepared for the visit by producing lots of Cork City FC artwork.  Pictured is FORAS member Josephine Neenan with her mother Margaret Emery.

Wednesday February 22nd:
The FAI Cup and President’s Cup were on display at Collin’s Barracks.
