CCFC Turns Purple For World Down Syndrome Day

Cork City FC is turning purple to celebrate our supporters on World Down Syndrome Day, March 21st 2018.

The theme of World Down Syndrome Day on Wednesday March 21st is “What I bring to my community”.

Cork City FC and FORAS is proud of its community ethos and we’re delighted to celebrate the contribution that our supporters with Down Syndrome bring to the Rebel Army.

Our club website will remain purple for the next 48 hours – purple is color associated win Down Syndrome in Ireland.

We also encourage all our supporters to wear odd coloured socks on March 21st as part of the “Lots of Socks” campaign.

Meanwhile, our friends at Down Syndrome Cork are holding their “Field of Dreams Spring Concert” at St Finbarre’s Cathedral on March 21st at 7.30pm. Tickets are available at Pro Musica, Oliver Plunkett St or on Eventbrite.
