Raise funds to help us challenge homelessness in Cork.

Focus Ireland will hold their first ever Cork Spring time Sleep Out this April on the Cork City FC Training Grounds at Bishopstown. The sleep out will be held from 8pm till 8am on the night of the 14th/15th of April.

In our efforts to Challenge Homelessness in Cork we are asking the men and women based here in Cork to get involved through their community organisations, business groups or as individuals to take on the Challenge and get sponsored to sleep out on the night.

If you cannot do it yourself , why not see if someone else is prepared to do it and row in behind them in getting sponsorship?

What do you need to do?

If you would like to take part challenge homelessness in Cork and make a difference please contact Focus Ireland’s Dick White on 086 8223690 or

We will then utilise an online Everyday Hero fundraising page for every registered participant where you can get sponsorship committed and we will also use the traditional sponsor card if required.

We have a brand, posters and flyers that can be used by yourselves to broadcast/advertise your own participation on social media etc

On the night all you need to do is to bring a sleeping bag and some warm clothes. We have access to indoor facilities in the event of it being an inclement night in addition to canteen facilities and bathrooms.

Participants will receive support, advice and materials to help with fundraising in advance of the event, and on the night.
