Women’s academy kicks off again this Friday

The Cork City FC women’s academy gets back underway later this week and players looking to be involved for 2019 are asked to register their interest in advance.

The academy runs alongside a player’s involvement in her own football club and is aimed at female players that are looking to improve their skills and be involved in a positive learning environment. A total of 16 former academy students have already gone on to be involved in the Women’s National League, with both Cork City’s U17s and also the senior squad.

Participation includes:

  • UEFA Licensed coaching sessions
  • individual conditioning programmes
  • challenge games
  • team building

The CCFC women’s academy is a pathway for players seeking to play in the Women’s National League in the future. It gives everyone involved a new challenge, a chance to meet, play and learn from players across the county (and, often, further afield!) and to push themselves to the next level at the biggest League of Ireland club in the country.

Email: [email protected] or call/text (086) 2519083 to register your interest.

The 2019 Women’s National League season gets underway this weekend, with Cork City travelling to take on Peamount United (Saturday, March 9th, 6.30pm)
