CCFC Turns Purple For World Down Syndrome Day

Cork City FC is turning purple to celebrate our supporters on World Down Syndrome Day, March 21st 2019.

CCFC and FORAS is proud of its community ethos and we’re delighted to celebrate the contribution that our supporters with Down Syndrome bring to the Rebel Army.

Our club website will remain purple for the next 48 hours – purple is the color associated with Down Syndrome in Ireland.

We also encourage all our supporters to wear odd coloured socks on March 21st as part of the “Lots of Socks” campaign, share videos on social media and raise as much awareness as possible.
