Cork City FC is delighted to announce the continued growth of our merchandise operations, both locally and nationally.
The first quarter of 2019 has seen the club put additional new agreements in place for leading Irish sports retailers including Lifestyle Sports & Elvery’s Sports to stock the clubs range of playing shirts, leisure-wear & other CCFC merchandise.
Having already worked closely with Elverys in 2018 and continuing a long-standing relationship with Finns Corner on Grand Parade, the clubs Merchandise Manager, David O’Rourke welcomed the chance to work with the leading retailers in the industry: “It’s fantastic to see more progress being made off the field, especially from a merchandise point of view. We have grown significantly in the past 12 months and it’s brilliant to have another major sports retailer in Lifestyle Sports come on board and stock official CCFC gear.”
From May 2019, Cummins Sports will also stock our Home, Away & new Third shirts. As well as locations in Cork City centre, Cummins has stores in Blackpool, Ballincollig, Bandon, Fermoy & Midleton.
David continued: “Fortunately for us, our fan base stretches far beyond the boundaries of Cork City. These new agreements will expand our reach and allow fans pick up a Cork City jersey from their local sports outlet. We’re grateful for the support and these retailers will continue with us into Christmas 2019 and beyond.”
Paul Wycherley, the club’s General Manager, said, “Our merchandise operations, led by David, is continuing to develop, as we expand our retail range, partnerships and availability. We’re always listening to our fans and responding to the market demands. In a very competitive retail market, we are showing successes and growth. The investment the club has put into our merchandising can be seen, and we plan to continue to do so.”
As well as the clubs online store CCFC.ie/shop, fans can now also buy their favorite shirt online at Lifestylesports.com & Elverys.ie.
