Cork City Head Coach Neale Fenn has added a number of Under 19 players to the first team squad for the remainder of the 2019 season.
Josh Honohan, who signed his first professional contract recently, made his first team debut on Friday, while Dale Holland was named among the substitutes. They will be joined by fellow Under 19 players Joe Meaney, Tomás Collins, Ricardo Dinanga, Rory Doyle and Jake O’Brien.
Commenting on the additions, Fenn stated: “I have had a good chat with Colin Healy, and have also looked at these lads in training last week. I was at their game against Cabinteely on Saturday and I have been very impressed with what I have seen. We already have a number of players in our first team squad who have come through the academy, and we want to continue that. We are looking forward to working with these players and integrating them into the first team squad for the remainder of the season.”
Each of the players have been allocated squad numbers as follows:
Joe Meaney 15
Tomás Collins 17
Ricardo Dinanga 28
Rory Doyle 30
Dale Holland 32
Jake O’Brien 34
