Cork City return to Só Hotel’s Women’s National League action this Sunday travel to face Limerick WFC with a 2pm kick off.
The game on Sunday starts off a busy week for Cork City as they have three games in a week and manager Rónán Collins being aware of the challenges his squad faces in this week ahead: “We head into a really busy week with a lot of points to play for. Four of the girls are just back from U19s in Netherlands where they represented the club incredibly well, we’re really proud of them.”
He continued: “We have to be conscious of getting the load balance right for those players who have played 3 games in 6 days and now look to do something similar this coming week. We also have 8 college girls who will be playing Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday so that will be a tall ask. Other clubs are going to have similar issues but we have a much larger college and U19 representation then our opponents so we’ll have to shuffle the deck a few times.”

Their U17s are finished so they are going to have a full squad to pick from. They have pace, hard work and always bring a goal threat.
