It was manager, John Caulfield’s 2nd year in charge of the Rebel Army after a very successful 2014 season which saw Cork City finish 2nd in the league. The Leesiders equaled their final league position from 2014, again losing out to 2015 champions Dundalk. City also reached the 2015 FAI Cup Final, but again Dundalk proved too strong, beating City 1-0 AET. 2015 saw a number of new arrivals such as Liam Miller, Steven Beattie and Kevin O’Connor, and the return of a familiar face in Alan Bennett.
