Cork City FC Academy are seeking a Goalkeeper Coach for its Boys Under 14 side, and Strength & Conditioning Coach & Video Analyst for its Boys Under 15 side for the 2024 season.
This is an exciting opportunity to learn, practice your skills and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, professional football environment.
Please note that these are voluntary positions.
Goalkeeper Coach - The successful candidate will ideally hold a UEFA B Goalkeeping Licence, and will have 3-4 years’ experience in elite coaching.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in periodic performance testing, data collection and performance analysis, as well as gain knowledge in Periodisation and Programming.
The role involves working with the Head of Strength and Conditioning to implement both on-field and gym based training sessions.
Regular in-house training will be available as well as access to training material specific to Youth Athlete Development.
The successful candidate must hold a qualification in Personal Training and/or Strength and Conditioning.
Video Analyst -
The role involves recording games using a mast or tripod and uploading the footage. Full training around equipment will be provided.
Successful candidates will be passionate about football, internally motivated, and will be eager to be involved.
It is essential that you are available on weekends to attend home or away games (transport provided).
