Amputee side in action on Saturday!
width= The first round of the Megazyme Amputee League takes place today, at Cope Foundation, Montenotte, from 2PM. Our amputee side will face off against Shamrock Rovers, Bohemians and Scottish side Partick Thistle. New manager, Daire Coughlan, spoke to CCFC.ie ahead of the games: "I’m delighted to be working with the Cork City FC amputee team. Since the national league started a couple of years ago, they have performed consistently including, of course, their trip to play in the Champions League in Georgia last May. Training has been good this week in the lead up to the first games of the season this weekend. They are a very determined and talented group of players and I am greatly looking forward to working with them" Entry is free, and supporters are encouraged to head up and support the lads!
