Cork City FC has teamed up with the Corner Flag pub in Turner's Cross in a new venture for the club as it looks to enhance the match day experience for fans.
People can now book the popular outdoor area, which overlooks the soccer pitch, through the Cork City FC website. The ticket holder will receive five drinks during the match with finger food served at half time.
Tickets cost €50 and will be available for this Friday’s home game against UCD.
The Corner Flag is the only external venue with an area overlooking the home ground of the club. The pub’s outdoor area is right beside the pitch which has allowed fans to enjoy the game and soak up the atmosphere.
Anthony O’Sullivan, Commercial Director of Cork City FC, said; “The outside area of The Corner Flag has a remarkable pitch-side view of Turners Cross and we are delighted to be able to enhance the fans’ experience by offering them a package which includes food and drink on match nights. The package is also available for corporate events and these can be booked by contacting me directly anthony@corkcityfc.ie.”

There’s always a great atmosphere in the Corner Flag on match days and we look forward to welcoming customers new and old.”
More than 5,000 fans turned out at Turners Cross for the opening night of the season when Cork City FC took on Kerry for the first time and a large crowd is expected to support the club when they take on UCD this Friday.
