Club Statement: Front of Shirt Sponsor

Cork City FC wish to confirm that the men’s first team is beginning the process of securing a new front of shirt sponsor for the 2023 season and beyond.

University College Cork, who have been the club’s Premier Partner since the beginning of the 2017 season, will continue as club partners in an exciting new partnership, details of which will be announced in the near future.

Commenting on the update, the club’s Chief Operating Office, Éanna Buckley, said: “These are exciting times for Cork City FC. Since crowds have come back to Turner’s Cross after a difficult few years, attendances have been excellent and the men’s first team are doing extremely well in the league, so there is a real sense of positivity around the club right now. We look forward to exploring the opportunities that are out there and working to secure a new front of shirt sponsor.”

Since they came on board as a partner of the club in 2013, we have established really strong links in a number of areas, and there is a very strong and positive working relationship between the two parties. We will be confirming details of the ongoing partnership in the coming weeks, which we believe will be hugely beneficial to the club and our players. I would like to especially thank Mr. Diarmuid Collins and Mr. JP Quinn of UCC for their unwavering support of the club, and look forward to continuing to work with them and their colleagues over the coming years.”
