Cork City FC are delighted to announce the signing of Deshane Dalling on a loan deal from QPR until June, subject to international clearance. Dalling, a 21-year-old exciting winger joins from parent club QPR where he has made one FA Cup appearance for their senior team having had a previous spell with Huddersfield Town. On his arrival Deshane expressed the following: “I am delighted to be here and just can’t wait to get going now. I had my first training session today with the team and really enjoyed it, there is a great buzz amongst the squad.” When pressed about what the fans can expect of him Deshane had the following to say: “I am a direct, fast player who loves being in one-on-one situations, playing from the wing. I want to do my best for the club and fans, I am very grateful for the opportunity.” City boss Neale Fenn spoke of his delight in getting the move over the line: “Deshane is a winger, very quick and direct, will frighten defences and he is unbelievable in one-on-one situations, so he gives us another massive attacking option.” City get their 2020 SSE Airtricity League campaign underway tomorrow night as they welcome old foes Shelbourne to Turner’s Cross.
