Cork City FC are pleased to confirm that Harvey Skieters has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The 19-year-old, who was named City’s MU20 Player of the Year for 2024, made his First Team debut in April, coming on as a substitute away to Finn Harps, and went on to make 8 league appearances in City’s First Division winning campaign.
Speaking after putting pen to paper on his two year deal, Skieters said: “I’m delighted to sign my first professional deal with the club. I have worked very hard for this opportunity and I am proud to sign for the next two years.”
City boss Tim Clancy said: “Harvey is another exciting young player that we feel has a big future ahead of him. He had a fantastic season in the academy last year, and also got a taste for first team football, so knows what is expected of a Cork City player.
"He’s the latest in a long line of academy players to be rewarded with a professional contract, which again highlights the great work being done at our underage sides.”
