Cork City FC is delighted to announce Mr. Bells Global Food Emporium as an academy partner for the season ahead. The partnership will see Mr. Bells appear on the sleeves of all boys and girls academy teams.
Mr. Bells is a Mecca for Food lovers, a second-generation Irish family owned business based in the heart of Cork City. They are all about innovative flavour and premium ingredients.
It all began back in the 1980’s when Alan and Nadia’s father Driss Belmajdoub, a native of Morocco and a Chef by trade, began selling herbs, spices, olives and a range of ethnic foods in The English Market that were not available anywhere else at the time. The business continues to grow, offering an extensive range of herbs, spices and specialty foods that celebrate the beautiful flavours and cultures that make up the global community.
Speaking at the announcement, Alan Belmajdoub, Mr. Bells owner said: “Having previously been involved in the academy as a player and coach, I am well aware of the volume of work that goes into the teams and players daily, I also know the vast resources required to run such an academy. I am delighted to support the academy and enable them to progress following on from the great progress that has been made in recent years.”
Head of Academy, Liam Kearney added: “We are very thankful to Alan and all at Mr. Bells for stepping in to support the academy for the coming season. It was a very easy conversation when I sat down with Alan and explained the steps we wanted to take, and he was very supportive of that. As an ex-coach and player in the academy Alan knows exactly the work that goes on behind the scenes to ensure each player is given the best possible resources.”
