Now Hiring: Performance Analyst

Cork City Football Club are recruiting for the position of Performance Analyst to join the Men's First Team on a full time basis. 

Requirements 

• Experience in football performance analysis, ideally within a senior or elite football environment
• A strong understanding of football tactics, playing principles and the technical and tactical demands of the game 
• Experience using video analysis software - Hudl, Wyscout, Sportscode 
• Strong video coding, editing and presentation skills 
• Ability to analyse match footage and translate findings into clear, practical insights for coaches and players 
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines 
• Ability to work independently and manage the analysis requirements of a First Team environment 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

Responsibilities 

• Take responsibility for all performance analysis requirements of the Men's First Team 
• Record First Team matches, including home and away fixtures, and training sessions as required 
• Code, edit and analyse match and training footage using video analysis software 
• Prepare opposition analysis to support pre match planning and tactical preparation 
• Produce video presentations and supporting materials for team meetings, match preparation and post-match reviews 
• Work closely with the manager and coaching staff to ensure analysis supports the team's tactical approach and playing philosophy 
• Manage and maintain an organised library of match footage, coded games, video clips and analysis reports.
