Cork City are back on the road on Friday evening, making the trip to the UCD Bowl to take on third placed UCD.
City come into the game off the back of last Friday's impressive 4-0 win over Wexford at Turner's Cross, a game that saw Cian Murphy, Barry Coffey, Cian Bargary and Dylan McGlade get on the scoresheet. UCD's last match was also against Wexford, where they were on the losing end of a 2-1 scoreline in Ferrycarrig Park.
Speaking at his weekly press conference in Bishopstown, City boss Colin Healy said: "The lads put on a very good performance last week against Wexford, and managed to get a very good result. UCD will be another difficult one on Friday, we've drawn with them twice already this season, and they've got very good players, including the likes of Whelan, Kerrigan and Doyle. We'll need to have our homework done, and make sure the boys are ready for it because if we go up there taking it lightly, we'll be beaten."
Healy hinted that there could be a few changes to Friday's lineup, saying: "Some the of lads might come in and play in different positions, just to give us a look at what we have for next year. We've got a good squad. We'll pick a squad that can go and win the game, but you may see a few playing in different positions, to show me what they can do with an eye to next season as well."
On the injury front, Jonas Häkkinen made his return to the side last week, after a spell on the sidelines. George Heaven, Uniss Kargbo and Rob Slevin remain out.
The match will also be broadcast on LOI TV, and you can purchase a single match pass for just €5.
