Cork City FC are pleased to announce the signing of South Korean striker, Yuna Go, subject to international clearance.

The 23-year-old striker, who most recently played for Hwacheon KSPO, told CorkCityFC.ie that she is looking forward to playing on Leeside: “I am very pleased to have signed for Cork City FC. I spoke with Liam Kearney and Derek Coughlan and I was impressed by what they had to say.”

“I hope I can help the team continue their recent good form in the second half of the season. I am looking forward to training with my teammates tonight for the first time, and cannot wait to get started.”

Cork City manager Derek Coughlan welcomed his new recruit, saying: “I am absolutely delighted to have Yuna on board. We identified her at the start of the window, and we are really happy to have it over the line. She brings quality and experience to the group, which is what this young team needs.”

“She has played at a really high level at both club and international level, and we are excited to see what she brings to City.”
