Cork City’s Ian Turner paid a visit to his old primary school St Columba’s BNS on Thursday Oct 11th.
He met with two groups of well-behaved and enthusiastic classes from 3rd to 6th class. He spoke about how important nutrition and regular exercise are in order to stay healthy and be a good athlete. He was asked a wide variety of questions from who his favourite team is to the best way to deal with losing a game.
Ian visited the classes after their lunch break to sign jerseys/scarves and copies as well as giving out match tickets to the classes. He had just about enough time to get a photo with a few of the classes so see if you can spot yourself below. We would like to thanks St Columba’s for being so welcoming and we hope to see you all again next year!
