Update on match attendance for Season Ticket Holders

APPLICATIONS FOR A FREE STREAMING PASS HAVE NOW CLOSED AS OF 28-JULY-2020.

UPDATE – 23rd July

Further to Tuesday’s announcement regarding admission to matches, the club has received a number of enquiries from supporters – particularly how fans might contribute a little extra if possible during the current times.

The club can confirm that if a season ticket holder foregoes the option of claiming a free WATCHLOI pass and chooses to pay for the service themselves, this would be financially beneficial. We are very appreciative of those who have indicated a willingness to make this gesture, however we very much understand that not everybody will be in a position to do so.

Following confirmation that the number of attendees at outdoor events is limited to 200 people, the club wishes to provide an update to supporters on attendance at matches.

It was our fervent hope that we would be able to welcome as many of our supporters back to Turner’s Cross when the league resumes, however the current situation precludes us from doing so. The figure of 200 people allowed at an event includes all players, match officials, match delegates, security, cleaners, ground staff, media and other personnel required to run a game, with the result that we will be unable to admit supporters until such time as the limit is increased. This is a matter of significant regret to the club, however these are unprecedented times, and we must follow the guidelines with which we are issued.

We note that the FAI will announce a streaming package for matches, which will allow our supporters to watch the team from home. The club will be purchasing access to the streaming package for Season Ticket holders who wish to avail of this. To apply for your pass, please fill out the form below. We thank all of our Season Ticket holders for their support and patience and assure them that we are working on arrangements additional to the streaming service to thank them for their support.

The form below will close at 6pm on Tuesday, July 28th.

As purchasing streaming passes will come at a cost for the club, we encourage season ticket holders to apply for one pass per household where possible. We are also aware that we have some season ticket holders who may not regularly access our website or social media channels, so we encourage season tickets holders to help raise awareness of the streaming pass through word-of-mouth, text, e-mail, etc.

It is our hope that our supporters will be able to return safely to Turner’s Cross in the not-too-distant future, and as soon as there is any change in the guidelines which will allow us to accommodate this, we will seek to do so within the constraints of whatever guidelines are announced.
