Darragh Crowley signs new contract!

Cork City FC are delighted to confirm that Darragh Crowley has signed a new contract with the club.

The 26-year-old has featured over 170 times for the first team since making his debut in 2019 after stepping up from the Club’s academy, with 34 appearances and 3 goals coming so far in the 2026 First Division winning campaign.

Speaking in Bishopstown, Crowley said: “I’m delighted to have signed a new deal. Being a Cork City player is something that I’m very proud of, and to be heading into my ninth season as a senior player, back in the Premier Division is great. As a team, we were professional this season in doing what we needed to do to win the league, and we know that there’s a lot of hard work to ahead of the return to the Premier, but we’re all determined and will be making sure we’re ready for February.”

City boss Barry Robson was pleased to have the Kinsale man tied down, saying: “Darragh has been great for us since I’ve come in. He’s only 26, but he’s very experienced in the League of Ireland and knows what will be expected from him in the Premier Division. Anyone that’s watched him play knows the kind of hard worker he is and how he gives everything for the Cork City shirt. He understands what it means to represent Cork City FC. He’s someone that will be important for us in 2027, and I’m happy to have him signed up.”
