Cork City FC look forward to welcoming supporters to Munster FA Turner’s Cross Stadium for tomorrow night’s game against Finn Harps.
A large crowd is expected at the game, with City due to be presented with the SSE Airtricity League of Ireland First Division trophy after the game.
Our Men’s and Women’s Player of Year awards will be presented pre-match, in association with ASMS Mechanical Services Ltd.
The game will also mark the final City appearance of Greg Bolger and we look forward to giving City fans the opportunity to give him a fitting ovation just prior to kick-off.
Traffic in the city is expected to be busy tomorrow evening so, with that in mind, we ask supporters to give themselves sufficient time to arrive at the stadium and find suitable parking, and to respect local residents when they do so. Ticket checks will be in operation prior to the turnstiles and supporters are asked to ensure that they have purchased the correct ticket type.
Supporters are reminded of the need to adhere to Stadium Regulations and are asked to cooperate with stewards and security at all times. Anyone attempting to bring pyro into the stadium WILL be refused entry.
We would appeal to supporters not to encroach on or enter the field of play at any point, as doing so will result in the trophy presentation being delayed.
Following the game, the players will leave the field of play immediately and return to the dressing room to allow the trophy presentation to be prepared. The players will then be welcomed back on to the pitch and presented with their medals, following which City captain, Fiacre Kelleher will be presented with the First Division trophy.
The players will then pose for photographs and do a lap of honour around the pitch, with some players joined by their children for this. The lap of honour will allow everyone the opportunity to be part of the occasion.
