Message from Chairman & Manager ahead of 2021 Season
With our first game against Cobh Ramblers coming up on Friday, Cork City Football Club would like to thank everyone who has expressed their support for the club in the lead-up to the season. Commenting, City Chairman Declan Carey said “There has been a great reaction to our Season Card offer, which launched last week. Sales have been very strong, and we really appreciate the support people have shown to the club in these difficult times. Aside from the Season Card, there are also a number of other ways in which people can contribute, and we are grateful for whatever support people are able to offer. We sincerely hope that we will be able to welcome supporters back to Turner’s Cross later this year, but in the meantime, people supporting us via the other means available is hugely appreciated.” "It's also a huge boost to have our Womens team's first game away to Galway this Saturday streamed live on the LOITV platform and we urge everyone to tune in and show support across social media channels or whatever way you can," he added. For 2021, supporters can purchase a Season Card which includes streaming of all games on LOITV, priority access to CCFC men's home league games (subject to Government restrictions) and a host of additional benefits. A portion of the season card cost is contingent on attendance of home games and should match attendance not be possible, supporters can opt to use a pro-rata balance of their Season Card towards a voucher for the club shop (redeemable in-store & online) or put it towards the cost of a 2022 Season Ticket. For full details supporters can read more on our new Season Card landing page. Cork City manager Colin Healy also hailed the backing of the club’s supporters, saying: “It's been fantastic to see all the messages of goodwill and support for myself and the players, and great to hear that people are getting behind us in all these different ways for the coming season. We all know how big a role the fans play at this club, and we can’t wait for the day they are back in Turner’s Cross to support us in person.” Among the options available for supporters to contribute to the club for the coming season are: The club will also be announcing details of a number of fundraisers over the course of the season, and support for these would be much appreciated. width=
